occupying the space between words and the rhythm between raindrops...mountain living on the edge of everywhere and in the middle of no such place. i often see old friends in the stars and sometimes my reflection in strangers. i could chop vegetables for hours and explore the universe through the slice of an onion. I find myself in an obsessive practice and ongoing process of learning form and technique with the intention to then unlearn it and undo it to its core in order to fully understand it and find it in myself. Committed to the evolution of minimalist contemporary circus, my days are generally spent in the pursuit of figuring out how many ways the human body can be tied in a knot, and how many beautiful ways a rope can be tied around a human body without being tied in a knot, and how the process of that can result in the deepest exploration and expression of my human experience.
