There once was a day in spring where I hatched....It was wet and gooey and cold.....where I hatched, I came to find out, was at the home of none other than Miss lala....
She and I hung out, had some fun, sewed a little, went to Costco, and then we went our separate ways, both destined to end up at the same space, none other than Black Rock City.....
at this point I was starting to molt....get a brand new coat of feathers, leave my other ones to the wind of the playa. On my way home I knew that lala had seen me molt, I was a little embarassed but decided I had nothing to hide from this beautiful bird.
So when we got back from the BRC< I started in on basic bird lessons, pecking order, feeding each other, nestling under each others coats, little beak pecks, even sharing a nest occasionally. She let me vent about my insecurities, laughed with me about all the silly little bird jokes.....cried all the silly little bird tears. My birdie love.
In SHORT, haha, this little pink birdie is the cutest of her kind, and warm hearted too! I know that she's been a huge part of finding my true turquoise colors and I could not be more grateful.
Showing me the skies lady, I am blessed by being a part of your nest. Thanks for everything you have taught me, and I couldn't have a cuter friend to hit the town with.
love you. miss you. see you soon.
