I don't know about him being a geek but he did usually win the sarcasm of the month award I handed out to my children while I was raising them. He has a bottomless fasination with whatever has his interest at the time. That sometimes isn't for long as he has a bit of the magpie in him and is easily distracted by shiny, sparkly bits. Unfortunately he learns readily and fast so even if his interest is short lived he'll know more about it than most. It's great for me as he keeps his old mom updated on everything happening in literature, music, you name it.
When we get to spend time talking together it's usually howling, gut busting laughter.
He is my shiny,sparkly boy,a great joy and I love him to pieces.

I'll never forgive halcyon for moving away, but at least he has the decency to come home now and again and surprise me. New York better feel thankful to have him or I am flying out and busting heads "Shaolin Soccer" style!
