And if in the process you step on his feet, poke him in the eye, or visit other even crueler indignities upon his person, he will be more kind and patient than you deserve. Trust me. I know.

An unexpected thing happened to me at a party on New Year's Eve; I found myself swing dancing with this charming and delightful man.
