Mary was the first American to become a real friend when I first came to this crazy land... we terrorized the Little Building and kept tabs on each other´s crushes (even shared some: Sebastian!) and watched Say Anything ad infinitum (and a good dose of Dream for an Insomniac too). She nursed me through my first heartbreak ever and that I will never forget... We also worked together on the worst feature ever to be shot, harassed our cute married boss, went to Woodstock and came back, ate a whole lot of crab rangoons, and took some famous drunken pictures on my 19th birthday with the filipino angels... When we finally had to part at the airport the airline lady had to pry us apart, we were sobbing so hard!

now we´re both out west and have barely seen each other... we need to get our act together!
