Monty is incredible. We worked together a while back, in the dot-com days (this one time... at dot-com camp...), and he was so beloved by every individual in the company that our execs had to constantly and routinely check in with him - seriously! When "Groove" was released, our company was shut out of IMDB for the company-wide website visits we were making.

I primarily know Monty from work, so other than noting that his direct reports adored him, that he had a true knack for management and was a significant mentor who had a magical touch - he was constantly assisting his direct reports to move into bigger positions within the organization, I can only add that I wish I had 1/100th of his people-skills.

Oh, and he's officially a superstar DJ!

then he showed up in a movie...(!?)

Later ran into him up in SF and again he had the sick tracks and treats too.
