I had the distinct pleasure of meeting this spectacular dance phenom on the same night that I was to play music for her to dance. I play for quite a number of dancers and very often it is a mutually pleasant experience. Vorona was all of that and a hundred times more. She oozes with talent and stage presence and incredible skills. She worked as hard at communicating with me as I did with her and the results were spectacular. I like to be thought of as "the belly dancers drummer" if this is in any way true, then Vorona is definitely "the drummer's belly dancer". Her talent is such that she includes all of those she works with on her journey and makes us all look and sound better.
And y'know what? She is very genuinely the nicest person you will ever meet. It's all real and she is a treasure. She is the type of person that you wish all of the best for and hope that she receives it. And then she probably turn around and share all of her success with everyone else..... cause she is just that nice and generous . This dancer is a treasure.

Twas a year and some days ago that I saw this dancer on stage and experienced that sensation where everything in the room dissapeared, my focus was on the inspiration on stage - until I had to pick up my jaw off the floor. Couple hours later I get the joy of sitting next to this girl for dinner and finding an instant friend. I knew I had to get her out here to dance because she is something that us here on the west coast needed to see. But much more than that, the love she put into dance is the love she puts into her life. She doesn't hold back. She doesn't hide. She gives everything she's got, and that is the mother lode. After spending an evening in NY and a week with her in LA this spring, on stage together, in the car for 8 hours and a few margaritas later, I cannot imagine my life without Vorona. Instant best friends. I have had the opportunity to see her inspire so many people - myself included - with her positive energy, her cute and silly sense of humor combined with a huge level of sincerity. Humble. Graceful and goofy - until the 3rd margarita, just goofy after that :). I Love you Vorona. You fuckin rock me silly!

vorona makes cheeseburgers taste so much better!!!! I swear vorona is a godsend to me. she is a wonderful dancer/teacher and friend. muah girl!!!!!

My sister what else can i say? A gift from life to me. When i needed inspiration, when i needed someone to believe in me and in my capacity to be a good dancer, always there, always patient and full of light.

I love this woman. LOVE. I can't stress that enough. She should serve as an inspiration to everyone - she's full of light, love, and passion about everything she encounters in life. She was the best thing that came out of my high school experience too, seriously! And, she does a really mean Fire Marshall Bill impersonation. ;)

What can I say about this gal. She is such a bright star in the boring humdrum of everyday life. I met her a little over a month ago at the Lakewood Ren Faire where we danced on the same stage. She is so full of love and life and just a blessing to be around.
